For Every Parent Who Wishes They Could Be There

Hi, I’m Kelly — a mom of five and the heart behind No Distance Too Far.

This past May, my oldest son walked across the stage at UConn. Two days later, he packed his belongings and flew to Oklahoma to begin an exciting new career. Just like that, my boy — the one I’d spent 23 years caring for, showing up for and loving through every stage of his life — was 1,700 miles away.

I was incredibly proud of him. But I also discovered something I wasn’t quite prepared for:

You never stop wanting to take care of your kids just because they grow up and move away.

You still want to be there for the birthdays and the big accomplishments. The first days and the hard days. The celebrations, the disappointments, the homesick nights and the ordinary afternoons when you simply wish you could stop by with something they love.

You want to knock on their door with their favorite treat, give them a hug, leave a handwritten note and remind them, I’m still here. No matter how far.

As a mom of five, I know there will be many more goodbyes, new beginnings and miles ahead. My children are at different stages of growing up and finding their own way in the world, and I’m learning that motherhood changes — but that instinct to show up for them never really does.

And I know I’m not the only parent who feels that way.

So I created No Distance Too Far for parents who wish they could be there themselves.

When the miles make that impossible, I can help you send a little piece of home — thoughtfully chosen local treats and comforts, beautifully packaged, personally delivered, and accompanied by your own words.

Not just for the big occasions.

For all the little moments you would have shown up for if you could.

Because no matter how old they get or how far away life takes them, sometimes you still want your child to know:

Mom is thinking of you.
Dad is proud of you.
Home isn’t so far away.

Because some hugs have to travel.
