A Little Piece of Home, Delivered Locally

No Distance Too Far makes it easy to show up for your student even when you can’t be there yourself.

We thoughtfully prepare your care package, handwrite your personal message, coordinate directly with your student, and personally deliver it to campus.

Currently delivering to UConn Storrs and Eastern Connecticut State University.

Personal campus delivery is included with every care package.

1. Choose a Care Package

Choose the package that fits the moment — a birthday, finals week, a case of homesickness, a rough day, a new semester, or simply just because.

Each package is thoughtfully curated with quality treats, local favorites, comforting extras, and special touches selected for the occasion.

2. Tell Us About Your Student

At checkout, we’ll ask for a few details to help make delivery easy:

  • Student name

  • College

  • Residence hall or campus location

  • Student cell phone number

  • Preferred delivery date

  • Your personal message

Please double-check your student’s phone number. We use it only as needed to coordinate their delivery.

3. Send Your Words From Home

Sometimes the most important thing inside the bag isn’t something you can buy.

Tell us what you’d like your student to hear, and we’ll handwrite your message onto a card and tuck it inside their package.

Whether it’s I love you, I’m proud of you, you’ve got this, or simply thinking of you, your words travel with the gift.

4. We Put It All Together

Your package is thoughtfully assembled locally and beautifully presented in our signature No Distance Too Far packaging.

Depending on the package you choose, it may include fresh bakery treats, locally sourced favorites, quality snacks, comforting extras, and special items selected for the occasion.

Because some of our products are sourced locally or seasonally, individual items may occasionally vary. If a substitution is necessary, we’ll always choose something of comparable or greater quality while keeping the spirit of the package intact.

5. We Coordinate With Your Student

Before delivery, we’ll text your student to arrange a convenient time and meeting location on campus.

Students generally meet us outside their residence hall or at another convenient campus location. For safety, privacy, and residence hall policies, we do not enter student rooms or residence halls.

College schedules can change quickly, so coordinating directly with your student helps make sure their gift reaches them safely.

Want It to Be a Surprise?

Absolutely.

We don’t have to tell your student who sent the package or what’s inside.

We can simply let them know:

“You have a special local delivery waiting for you.”

The rest can stay a surprise until they open the bag.

6. Personally Delivered With Care

Your package isn’t placed in the mail or handed off to a national shipping carrier.

We personally deliver it locally.

Orders are grouped into convenient campus delivery windows whenever possible, allowing us to provide the personal service that makes No Distance Too Far different.

We currently deliver to:

University of Connecticut — Storrs Campus

Eastern Connecticut State University — Willimantic

Keeping our delivery area close to home allows us to provide each order with the attention and care it deserves.

7. You’ll Know It Arrived

Once your student has received their package, we’ll send you a delivery confirmation so you know your little piece of home made it safely into their hands.

When appropriate, we may also provide a quick photo receipt of the delivered package.

We will never photograph your student without their permission.

Because sometimes knowing they got it matters almost as much as sending it.

Delivery Timing

Can I Request a Certain Date?

Yes. You may request a preferred delivery date when placing your order.

We’ll make every effort to accommodate birthdays, finals, special occasions, and other meaningful dates.

Because delivery depends on student availability, campus conditions, order volume, and our scheduled delivery windows, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

If timing is especially important, we recommend ordering as early as possible.

What If My Student Isn’t Available?

No worries — college students are busy.

If your student cannot meet us at the originally arranged time, we’ll make reasonable efforts to coordinate another available delivery time.

Packages will not normally be left unattended outside residence halls, particularly when they contain fresh or perishable items.

Fresh & Local Finds

Part of what makes No Distance Too Far different is that your student isn’t receiving a mass-produced box pulled from a warehouse.

Whenever possible, our packages feature fresh bakery treats, local favorites, seasonal finds, quality snacks, and thoughtfully selected comfort items.

Availability changes, and that is part of the charm.

Exact brands, flavors, colors, or individual items may vary while maintaining the overall value, quality, and theme of your chosen package.

Food Allergies & Dietary Needs

If your student has a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when ordering.

We’ll do our best to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible.

Because food items may be prepared or packaged by third-party bakeries, manufacturers, and local businesses, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Students with severe allergies should carefully review packaged-food labels before consuming any item.

Make It Extra Special

Sometimes the occasion calls for a little something more.

Depending on availability, you may be able to add special touches such as:

  • A fresh local bakery treat

  • Cozy socks or another comfort item

  • Extra snacks

  • Birthday extras

  • Roommate treats

  • Flowers or seasonal additions
